The Aftercare at Brackenfell Primary School is managed and controlled by the De Bracken Education and Development Trust.
Mrs. E Olivier (Vice-principal) is overall in charge of the Aftercare. Mrs. L Erasmus manages and controls the Aftercare daily.
Currently the Aftercare accommodates 453 pupils. Gr R-3 pupils receive a cooked meal daily. The Gr.4-7 pupils have to pack an extra lunch pack for Aftercare. Gr R pupils are accommodated apart from the rest of the Aftercare.
The whole Aftercare area as well as the classrooms are equipped with security cameras. The manager monitors the specific areas in the office. Every Aftercare class has a qualified supervisor as well as a class assistant.
The Aftercare assures you of your child’s safety and happiness. The staff strives to give attention and love where needed.
During the holiday period a special program is followed.
Aftercare times:
The Aftercare is closed during public holidays and during WCED holidays. If parents collect their child/children after 18:00, a penalty will be applicable.
Aftercare fees:
Holidays are included in Aftercare fees. The Aftercare has its own banking details.
Admissions/ Application forms:
Application forms are only obtainable from the Aftercare Office. Please send an email to nasorg@brackies.co.za
Office hours: 10:00 – 18:00
No payment – No service and your child will forfeit his/her place at the Aftercare.
